Hisar Thermals

First chemical analysis of the mineral waters in Bulgaria has been carried out in 1882 in the city of Hisar. It is the beginning of the organized balneology in the country. 
The city of Hisar has at its disposal 22 thermals – 16 natural and 6 drills with a temperatures from 37 C to 51 C. Water is slightly mineralized, without colour or odour, with gorgeous taste, and it can be used as table water. The medical test of the Hisar mineral waters recognized the thermals’ healing and beneficial effect for many deceases . It is used for drinking for nephritis, urology problems, liver-bile deceased, stomach problems as well as deceases of the peripheral neural system. Bathing in the mineral waters brings relief for problems connected with the bones and joints, gynecological deceases, endocrynologycal system and metabolism, as it provides for radon inhalations.
The mineral thermals are largely used for healing, prevention and recreation throughout the year.
